DISTRICT GOVERNOR INDUCTS NEW MEMBER
District Governor Ken Buck (left) inducted the latest new member into the club on Thursday 19th March 2009. Danny Lawrence (centre), a director of community radio station Gateway FM was introduced by his sponsor Rotarian David Fenn who outlined his work with the station and in particular his work in the community. When working for another radio station in Kent Danny was given a number of awards by Swale council for his work in the community and was appointed Minister for Radio by the Rock’n Roll Looney Party.
Immediately after his induction by the District Governor, Danny was formally introduced to each member of the club by President Terry Finnegan (right).
The club members wish Danny all the best and look forward to working with him for many years to come.
